We all had a BLAST on Saturday bowling with Friends! The kids almost beat the adults. ;) Teddy Sager was the overall Winner! And, of course, I LOST! BOOOOO

Jason and I have not been skating in FOREVER! The kids have NEVER been till a few weeks ago. The boys were invited to a Bday Party and they had a great time. However, they wanted to play the arcade games more than skate. ;) We were all so sore the next day. BUT, we cant wait to go back.

So, a few days ago I posted a picture of a bear that Luke received at school from his friend Bailey. Well, the DAY AFTER THAT this is what he came home with from ANOTHER girl named Rowen. Oh LORD! It says 'I want to kiss'! Are you kidding me????

Love Notes!!

Is it TRUE???? Do Love Notes really start this YOUNG??? The picture above is from Luke's "girlfriend" Bailey. They met last year and in the same class and proclaimed their love for one another. LOL Well this year they are in different classes so they only get to see one another at recess. Look at the back of this cute bear on the next picture.

Winter Camping!

This is one side of our camp site. I couldnt fit all of it into one picture. There were about 30 tents.

As a total trip it was very fun. SOOOOO cold at night though. The second night the temps got down to 30. Was not fun at all.! Luke had a blast though and is ready to go back. AND, he got two new belt loops for his uniform. Tonight we have a halloween party so Ill post again tomorrow. ;)

Don't you just LOVE this???? Jason brought me a small bottle of what HE said was dishwashing liquid. Well, HE WAS WRONG! LOL 7 towels later.....Its cleaned up.

Chicken and Asparagus

Alrighty Karen, The following is SUPER EASY!

Asparagus, before cooking wash the asparagus under water. Hold the bottom and the top of the asparagus and bend. This will make the bottom part of the asparagus break off. You will want to do that so you will only get the best part. Put EVOO(extra virgin olive oil) in the pan on Med. heat and let it get hot. throw the asparagus in. I let it cook until it starts getting a little brown. Put salt and pepper over it and serve.




This is just something I came up with. Cut up chicken into peices. Heat a frying pan with butter. Add chicken, sprinkle chicken with all purpouse seasoning. Cook until chicken is done(it will also have brown spots, when done). Set asside. Boil noodles with one teaspoon of evoo. When they are done drain the noodles and add to a bowl. (to know if the noodles are done, thow one on the wall or cabinet and see if it sticks. LOL)

In a separate pot....Combine 2 tbls. of butter. 1/2 cup of Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbls. of sugar, any spices you might want. Heat to boil. Then combine the chicken with the noodles and pour the sauce over it. Its time to eat!

Country Cookin!

Stewed Potatoes

Fill pan half way with water
cut/Quarter potatoes
boil till softened/when you can stick a fork through easily
ADD
1/2 stick of butter
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons of flour
Mix good
Boil until thick/about 5 min.

Fried Potatoes

Peel potatoes and slice
Slice onion
Put 1/3 cup of oil in pan
salt and peper to taste
medium heat/with lid
flip often



Brown Beans
Fill a pot half way with water
pour in 1 bag of pinto beans
4 tablespoons of oil
salt to taste
Boil for three hours on medium heat covered

Cub Bowling

This is Luke after he got his STRIKE! He was the only one on our sreen that got it. He was SOOOO excited.

All of the small balls were taken. So we had to throw/roll the ball.
