Vanity

In the last post you learned a very small bit about my Aunt Hope. Well, this is something else that she was able to give to Riley. And let me tell you, I have NEVER seen her react and play with something more than she does this...Well, maybe her Babies. But she hasn't even been paying them any attention since she got this. LOL

Play shoes!

My aunt Hope has ALWAYS been the kind of Aunt that will do anything for me. ;) She was always there for me while growing up. I spent as much time at her house as I did at my own. Maybe it was because I was the same age as my cousin Chas. BUT, I think its just because she LOVED ME! lol Well, sadly she had to recently move out of her house that she has lived in for YEARS! BUT, with saddness comes smiles at times. Look at what she found and gifted to my precious Riley! Dress up SHOES! If you know Riley you know she LOVES her shoes. Early I know...But she does. And Aunt Hope gave her two pairs! Mom and I spent a few hours the night she got them putting them on her. And still, every day since she works with them and she is getting good at putting them on herself. SO, Aunt Hope, thank you so much for still taking care of me, and now my children. I LOVE YOU!

Riley's American Flag Shirt!

WOW! It does not even seem like it has already been 8 YEARS since this has happend. I know it sounds crazy that I say that with Jason being right in the middle of all of this. BUT, it just doesnt. This is his JOB. So to us its normal. Its just something that he has to do. He comes and goes.

I still remember where I was on that day. I was in the Drs. Office. I had not been feeling good so I went to get some medicine. I walked in and noticed the TV. I thought they had been watching a movie. Then I seen the reports start. I was acctually the first person to figure it out in the office that this was real. This was acctually happening. And im MY lifetime..... I remember EVERYONE freaking about Gas prices and Jason taking my car while I was at work to fill it up. He waited for like 2 hrs. in the gas line. And paid like $6.75 a gallon or something crazy.

My thoughts are prayers go out to ALL of the families and friends who's life were affected on that day and still to this day. We will NEVER forget.

MK Wedding

Let me introduce you to my friend Chrissy Williams. I worked with her at Walmart. She is a sweet heart. She had her wedding today. Her and her husband got married at the courthouse 10 yrs. ago. After getting married they had twin babies. They decided to renew their vows this year on their anniversary. She called ME to do her bridesmaids and her makeup for her special day. :0) I heart her so much. She is an amazing person and I'm so honored to be called for this. The church was beautiful and so was she. And yes, shes wearing clothes. LOL she has a beautiful strapless dress.

Open House

OK, this is my problem..... This is Luke's picture that he did of himself. The coloring is ok. The writing???? I'm really worried about. I know hes still only 5, and I know hes only in 1st grade. BUT, you should have seen the other kids work. They were all so nice and neat. The upper case letters and lower case letters actually looked right. Jason and I both don't have the best writing so I suppose he gets it from us. BUT, after seeing that, we now write 5 sentences a day. lol I don't want him to suffer because I haven't been so good at doing much at home with him. Going to Open House gave me a BIG wake up call.
This is his Teacher Mrs. Harris. She seems very nice and soft spoken. Luke took her a gift and said "Thanks for teaching me stuff." It was so cute. ;)
This is his desk.
The computer room. They have the nicest computers I have seen at a school.
The library. It is so cute and short. LOL

This past Thursday was Open house at Luke's school. He was sooooo excited to show me the "secret way" to get to his class. Which was through the front door. LOL
"and a special thanks to Andi for helping me with the camera issues I was having. Now my hubby can see this. ;) I owe you one Andi."
